The Rotary Club of Caterham have launched a Young Photographer competition, to support and encourage the development of photographic skills in young people.

The competition is open to all young people, with 3 age groups, and is aimed to encourage young people to experiment with photography, using digital or traditional methods, showing interpretation of their chosen topic, and expressing their ideas!  


The Competition

To produce a portfolio of up to 3 photographs based on the theme, Springtime in Surrey.

The photographs can be in colour or black and white, and should be submitted on photographic paper, or emailed in by Friday 6th May 2016.

Judges will consider technical merit, content and composition, and imagination and style! 


Age Groups (on 31st Aug 2016)

  • Junior up to Year 6
  • Intermediate up to Year 11
  • Senior under 19 years old



Each category winner will receive a prize of £100
