Circus Wonderland in Oxted

InTandridge attended the opening of Circus Wonderland at Master Park, Oxted – and what an opening it was!

With a close knit group of performers, the sheer strength, agility, dexterity, balance, skill and bravery of the artistes and acrobats on show really must be seen live to be appreciated!

Circus Wonderland has an intimate feel in the “big top”, and although their brochure invites you to “sit back and relax”, it is difficult to do so with some of the performances, particularly Stephanie’s “Aerial Artistry” and Duo Stefaneli’s “Flight of Fantasy”, high above the circus ring, with no safety devices!  

As well as these daredevil’s spinning and spiralling through the air, Nico and Angelica juggled an array of balls, clubs, hats and rings.  Devid Adam showed amazing strength and poise, balancing one handed above the ring; and Clowns, Mr Popol and Kakehole brought the show together, with chaos, laughter and audience participation! 

Food and drink prices are extremely reasonable with 4 drinks, a hotdog, some popcorn and a big bag of candy floss around £10.  Toilet facilities were clean and well stocked, and there’s an opportunity during the break for children (and adults if they so wish) to have a photo with Ernie the Elephant, the Circus’ mascot.

Circus Wonderland provides great entertainment for the whole family – you really do feel part of the action.  

InTandridge definitely recommends a visit!
